American Apparel owner Dov Charney (45) has been suspended for a month, to be terminated as a president and CEO of the controversial fashion brand. AA’s board vaguely stated that the proposed firing is because of “ongoing investigation into alleged misconduct”.
Young female models in sexual ads
Charney has been fraught with controversy. Not only did he push limits by using young female models in extremely sexual ads; the AA-founder has also face several lawsuits against him, accusing him of misconducts like keeping a teenage sex slave, using sexually explicit language and walk around in his underwear or less at the office and masturbating in front of a female reporter from now-defunct Jane magazine.
Fitted follow up
No woman deserves to be treated like this. Let’s hope the investigation will be finished soon and appropriate measures will be taken if needed.
