[:en]Give love to your body by making your own sugar-free, raw jam and she will love you back!
[dropcap]Most[/dropcap] jams are full of additives to improve its consistency and preservability; substances that our body doesn’t need and are even burdensome to our body (more about this in my post about toxins). On the contrary, home made jams that do not contain all these harmful additives, complement your health ànd beauty; blackberries have risk on cancer decreasing properties, promote skin health, slow down skin aging, keep your blood sugar balanced and promote digestion.
Here’s the (really easy and quick) recipe:
DIY: sugar-free, raw blackberry jam
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Yields: 6 servings
Kitchen aid: fork, small bowl
Ingredients:
- 9 ounce/250 grams of organic blackberries (if not organic: rinse well!)
- stevia
(if you don’t have stevia stay away from aspartam. Preferably use maple syrup, agave nectar or palm sugar from organic growth instead).
Directions:
- I told you, it’s really easy: just mash the blackberries with a fork until they become spreadable, than add 20 drops of stevia (or to taste) or 1/2 tbs agave nectar/maple syrup.
- The jam tastes lovely on my chia-sesameseed bread!
- Store the jam in your fridge and use within 3 days.
Have a lovely day!
