I usually only ate fruit as a snack or as an ingredient in my breakfast. I obviously could also let fruit play a leading role in my breakfast. Be inspired by my 5 favorite fruit breakfast ideas:

Banana ‘Sandwich’

Cut a banana in half lengthwise, then spread it with almond butter and sprinkle with chopped nuts, sesame seeds and raisins. source

Chocolate Pancakes with Fruit

Bake chocolate pancakes (use this recipe for gluten-free chocolate pancakes, adding 2 tablespoons cocoa powder to the recipe) and fill them with fresh, chopped fruit. source

Rapsberry Smoothie Bowl

Make this smoothie bowl by combining and mixing a big hand of blackberries, half a mango and a peach with half a cup of coconut cream and half a cup of water in the blender. For the topping you can use your favorite muesli, nuts or seeds. source

Yogurt Parfait

Fill a glass with a layer of (soy or goat) yogurt, add a layer of your favorite muesli or granola and follow with a layer of chopped fresh red fruits like blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. Repeat until your glass is full. source

Quinoa Fruitsalad

You can cook this quinoa the night before. The next morning all you have to do is add some fresh fruit and maybe some honey and (poppy) seeds. source
