High Protein Super Food Smoothie with Chlorella and Acai

Chlorella is an algae and a true super food with many health and beauty benefits. Chlorella supports weight loss, detoxifies, is a powerful cancer defense and supports your immune system. Chlorella can also sooth skin problems like acne. 

Chlorella has a strong taste, which cannot particularly be reffered to as nice. It is therefore best to combine chlorella with swet flavors from fruits i.e. In this recipe, I have included acai. Acai is a tiny, dark red/purple berry from the acai palm tree native to South America. Like chlorella, besides being very nutritious, acai also has  anti-aging and weight loss properties. Raspberries have these properties too, although less strong as acai berries. 

Avocado and coconut milk give smoothieness to the drink and provide healthy omega-3 fatty acids. The protein in this smoothie are plant-based and vegan-proof. In my e-book I have explained why protein are so important.

Ingredients
  1. 0.5 avocado (California)
  2. 1 pear
  3. 15 raspberries
  4. 50 ml coconut milk
  5. 1 tsp chlorella
  6. 1 tsp acai
  7. 2 tsp protein powder (rice, vegan)
Instructions
  1. Cut the pear and avocado into small pieces and transfer into
  2. your blender.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend!
Notes
  1. Top with any super food that you like, like hemp seeds. chia seeds or a few goji berries.
