Saturday, February 14, this Saturday, so at the time of writing in 4 days, it’s Valentine. Of course I know that we don’t celebrate Valentine, as we see Valentine as one big commercial circus. Of course you don’t have to stand on my doorstep with a bunch of red roses, write me a romantic poem, take me out for a posh dinner or book that luxury suite under the stars.
If you think chickpeas are only suitable for savory dishes, you might be amazed by the recipes that I’m about to share with you. Chickpeas as a matter of fact can be perfectly used for sweet dishes, such as cookies, bars and pancakes.
I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I promised myself that I will try a sweet chickpea recipe before 2014 comes to an end. As such, I searched for clean recipes all over the web and found 4 that tickled my tastebuts.
They were gone before we knew it. I blame it all to the loud crunch of the slightly bitter chocolate when taking a bite. To the amazing sweet marzipan – I am such a sucker for marzipan. And ofcourse to the knowledge that these chocolate-marzipan bonbons are 100% guilt-free and much healthier than store chocolate marzipan. Whoa!
Fortunately, these bonbons are easy peasy to make, because they require only four ingredients to make. Read on for the recipe!
