Chlorella is an algae and a true super food with many health and beauty benefits. Chlorella supports weight loss, detoxifies, is a powerful cancer defense and supports your immune system. Chlorella can also sooth skin problems like acne.
Chlorella has a strong taste, which cannot particularly be reffered to as nice. It is therefore best to combine chlorella with swet flavors from fruits i.e. In this recipe, I have included acai. Acai is a tiny, dark red/purple berry from the acai palm tree native to South America. Like chlorella, besides being very nutritious, acai also has anti-aging and weight loss properties. Raspberries have these properties too, although less strong as acai berries.
Avocado and coconut milk give smoothieness to the drink and provide healthy omega-3 fatty acids. The protein in this smoothie are plant-based and vegan-proof. In my e-book I have explained why protein are so important.

- 0.5 avocado (California)
- 1 pear
- 15 raspberries
- 50 ml coconut milk
- 1 tsp chlorella
- 1 tsp acai
- 2 tsp protein powder (rice, vegan)
- Cut the pear and avocado into small pieces and transfer into
- your blender.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend!
- Top with any super food that you like, like hemp seeds. chia seeds or a few goji berries.
