Men prefer Kardashian Curves, Women Prefer Emma Watson’s Body

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]adies! My love sent me this body image article on The Daily Mail about a British survey (I couldn’t find the source). The survey shows that men prefer a Kim Kardashian kind of body type on women, while women prefer an Emma Watson kind of body type on women.

In general, women strive for a thin body type, like the left image. Nevertheless, men prefer a curvier frame.

My first thoughts:

  • Do we care what men prefer?
  • Why are women always subject of these kind of surveys?
  • Why don’t we do these kind of surveys on men?
  • Could this be indicated as sexualisation of women?
