How international fashion model Anouk Sanders (Paparazzi Model Management) gets her beautiful body? By no means by excluding chocolate from her diet. In this interview I asked Anouk about her workouts and eating habits.

Q: Modeling can be quite exhausting; how do you stay fresh & energized when you are on a job?   I always try to get my minimum of 8 hours of sleep, start my day with a good breakfast and a black coffee and work out on a regular basis.     Q: I see a lot of models bringing their own food on set, so they can make a healthy choice. Do you bring your own food to jobs?   Nowadays most of the time the food on set is fresh and healthy. People are more aware of what they eat. But when I know that it will be a long shooting day or a shooting day on location, I always bring something myself, for example (Näk’d) energy bars, some raw veggies, raw nuts, dates or fruit.   ah-to-go-snack-nakd-pecan-pie Q: Do you have advice for other models and women that want to eat healthy regarding snacks that they can bring along to work?   Take snacks that are easy to bring and need no preparation or anything. If you don’t have much time, bring snacks like a banana or apple, energy bars, rice cakes or nuts.

Q: Do you follow a diet or do have any nutritional habits that help you to stay healthy and in shape?   I don’t belive in diets, I just live a healthy lifestyle for 80% of the week, stay away from refined sugars and refined carbohydrates. I furthermore eat a lot of veggies, healthy fats and protein.     Q: What does your typical breakfast look like?   I start my day with a bowl of oatmeal with unsweetened almond milk, flax seeds, hemp seeds and blueberries. And my black coffee or a smoothie with banana, spinach, zucchini, cinnamon and almond milk.

Q: What’s your favorite YOLO food?

Chocolate! Chocolate! And … chocolate!
